The Salzburg Institute of Religion, Culture and the Arts was founded in 2010 as part of Gordon College and became an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2014. They are situated in the framework of Christian humanism as it related to human flourishing. From their website: The Salzburg Institute “promotes an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas between scholars and students from diverse religious and ideological backgrounds in order to engage critically with significant questions arising from the intersections of religion, culture, and the arts. The Salzburg Institute realizes its mission through a five-week undergraduate summer program in Salzburg, Austria, the Salzburg Institute Chamber Music Concert Series, the Salzburg Institute Symposium in conjunction with the University of Salzburg, and its Symphilologus book series. The Institute also organizes lectures as part of the Salzburger Hochschulwochen, an annual theological lecture series at the University of Salzburg.”
