Discussion Guides

These Discussion Guides can be used to inform or actually during a discussion group of individuals gathered to talk about a book, play, or film. Each guide is less than 500 words and includes bibliographic information, a short summary of the work, an outline of the major themes, and discussion questions.

For the films, consider showing these at the Study Center or a home and then leading a discussion. For the books, you could have participants read the entire work and discuss it at once or break the meetings up over time to cover portions of the book.

The questions in the Discussion Guides are written in such a way that assume you have read the book or seen the film, so please be aware that story endings are revealed.

You can also visit our “Of Note” Resources page for full reviews of articles, books, and films.
